Innovations Aviation Aid Systems
Attention, please!
As of July 1st, 2020, wind turbines in Germany are required by law to feature on-demand night-time marking (German: BNK) in accordance with their approval notice requirements for Aviation Aid Systems.
By taking over REETEC, we cover this area of the value chain, too. For more than 20 years, REETEC (now SPIE WIND) has been developing and producing obstacle markings especially for wind turbines. We are happy to offer you maximum quality and expertise—according to latest certification standards, of course.
Our service portfolio comprises:
- Day and night marking
- Visibility control
- Tower marking
- Synchronisation and on-demand lighting
Universal Aviation Obstruction Marker System for on- and offshore wind turbines.
Our Aviation Obstruction Marker System has undergone extensive tests under realistic environmental conditions: tests in climate and pressure chambers, salt water spray tests as well as acceleration and shock tests that go beyond typical environmental conditions and manufacturer requirements. The optical and functional properties have been tested by an accredited laboratory and successfully certified according to the latest ICAO and AVV (Germany) guidelines.
All our development, quality and production processes are structured as recommended by the guidelines of APQP4Win[[R1] d and certified according to:
- ISO 9001 : 2015
- ISO 14001 : 2015
- BS OHSAS 18001 : 2007
Retrofit—an EXCLUSIVE SPIE WIND solution.
Our cost-effective retrofit solutions are state of the art for retrofitting your aviation aid systems. We offer turnkey solutions individually tailored to your systems – including professional installation. A win-win situation is also created by synergies in connection with other measures, e.g. simultaneous leaf inspections, DGUV V3 inspections or general plant inspections.
Regardless of the location of your wind turbine, our retrofit solutions meet both local and international guidelines/requirements:
- AVV (FVT) for Germany
- STAC for France
- ICAO A, B and C for international aviation guidelines
Further approvals have been applied for.
Numerous local requirements from the respective BImSchG permit.
Your added values at a glance:
- Independent of manufacturer and system – one size fits all
- Newly designed, robust "plug'n'play" GPS solution with integrated twilight switch
- Modular control system – therefore directly retrofittable, e.g. with "ADLS" module
- Compatible with all current rADLS (Aviation Detection Lighting System) (German: BNK) such as Parasol, Airspex, Quantec
- Significant cost reduction in production through consistent simplification of design and components, e.g. reduction of the number of LED levels
- Highly flexible system that can be easily adapted to local requirements via network / web interface
- Individually configurable, therefore ideally suited for retrofit measures
- Freely configurable synchronisation with neighbouring systems or parks
- Central control unit including web-based operating and monitoring screen
- Low maintenance
- Turnkey solution including on-site installation
- Compliant with numerous directives and legislation
